Preston Gallery Presents: The Kids’ Juried Show Application

Young artists, this is your moment to shine! We are accepting submissions in any medium — paint, pencil, collage, mixed media, and more.

A Note to Parents & Guardians

This show celebrates kids’ creativity. We kindly ask that the work submitted be entirely created by the child — no “helping hands” from adults. Our jurors want to see the world through their eyes, in their style — whether it’s wild, messy, precise, or playful.

Submission Fee & Giving Back

There is a $10 submission fee per child, 100% of this fee will be donated to the Jennifer Ashleigh Children’s Charity. This charity supports children living with serious illnesses and helps their families with care, treatment, and support.

By entering, every child is helping other kids in need — turning their creativity into a way to give back to the community.

Submitting an artwork does not guarantee your work will accepted to be shown,. There is no limit on the number of children who can apply, not every work will be chosen.

Important Details

• Size: Artwork must measure 8x10 inches (outside dimensions) to fit our gallery frames.

• Framing: All accepted works will be framed by Preston Gallery. Frames cover ¼" on each edge — mixed media artists, keep this in mind!

• Surfaces: Paper, canvas, or board are all welcome. 

• All work must be wall hanging (no sculpture)

Selection Process (Juried Show)

This is a juried exhibition. A panel of three professional artists will review all submissions and select 25 works max per age group (see below).

• Limit: One artwork per child may be submitted.

• There is no limit on the number of children who can apply, not every work will be chosen.

Sales

All accepted works will be priced at $40:

• $20 goes directly to the young artist.

• $20 goes to the gallery (frame)

• Opening Reception: Saturday, November 29, 2025
