Meet Steph Law
Steph Law is an emerging acrylic and graphite artist based out of Uxbridge, Ontario. After beginning her training at the age of six, Law's studies eventually took her to York University where she obtained her BA in Visual Arts. Steph's artwork is deeply personal and emotional. Examining mental health and the healing properties of creativity are extremely influential on her pieces. Currently, her focus is on the abstract, serving as an outlet for her own depression and anxiety. The many layers, shapes and textures presented in her work are a conduit for her inner struggles and supports Law's creative endeavour to make sense of and connect the small details of everything she experiences. Even in the darkest and most chaotic corners of her canvases, balance and beauty can be found.
