Working in fashion from the age of fifteen, a lover of design and garment construction, Chandra discovered her passion for creating at an early age. Early in her career she had the opportunity to work abroad handcrafting leather shoes in England. Upon her return she was certain of her future and attended George Brown College for Fashion Design as well as Retail Management and has continued the learning process through Designer internships and small businesses throughout Toronto and Montreal in various interesting genres of leather production. She has consistently furthered her studies primarily in technology at George Brown College and Seneca College earning a certificate in Web Development.
In 2018, Chandra started Hyde Ends Leather in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada. Uxbridge has shown tremendous support for the arts and culture in the community year round, what better place to set up her studio! Hyde Ends can best be described as a line of leather goods expressing love of colour, function, quality and style.
Hyde Ends is focused on creating timeless pieces to accessorize quality basics. With aspirations to use the end of each and every leather hide, remnants are carefully incorporated into the next creation.
