The Northwest Territories is a vast, rugged, Arctic wilderness with a population of 44,000 people. It's also known by the world to be a top location for viewing the northern lights. This seemed to be the perfect opportunity to try to capture this colourful dance in the skies. Some of the stars are individually painted but quite a few are splatter painted using a toothbrush and old credit card. I enjoy splatter painting but you do need to be careful not to over do it.
