Jean-Maurice Cormier is a Newcastle Ontario based photographer who has had photos exhibited in galleries around Durham Region, York Region and Northumberland County and has been the winner of local photography and art competitions. His photography encompasses mainly Landscape , Street, Travel and Semi-Abstract.

The process of taking images forces a photographer to slow down and be hyper-aware of his surroundings. Jean-Maurice’s objective is to get viewers of his images to also pause and think, cutting through all of modern life’s visual distractions.
