Stoneground - Transparent Red (Traditional Colour - Half Pan)

This is a warm, earthy orange-red whose transparency gives off a jewel-like glow when used in glazing techniques. Ideal for landscapes, florals, botanicals, wildlife, and still life work, Transparent Red is also useful to warm flesh tones in portraiture and figurative work.

Artist Notes: The granular nature of Transparent Red can be used to great effect in heavy washes on cold pressed paper.
