Sourced from iron ore deposits near Pozzuoli, Italy, Pozzuoli Earth Red is a natural red earth pigment containing clay that has been coloured by iron oxide. This pigment is an exceptionally warm orange-red earth colour, and is one of the most permanent pigments available to artists.
Pozzuoli mixes beautifully with other colours, including a beautiful range of neutrals when combined with Ultramarine Blue, and deep orange-reds when combined with Bordeaux.
