Red Forest by Jean-Maurice Cormier

Jean-Maurice Cormier is a Canadian photographer who has had photos exhibited in Durham Region, Northumberland County and the Peterborough area of Ontario. He has been the winner of local photography and general art competitions. His photography encompasses Landscape, Street, Travel and Semi-Abstract.

Jean-Maurice enjoys the process of taking images because it forces him to slow down and be hyper-aware of his surroundings while walking around with his camera. Similarly, he hopes the images created will make viewers also slow down and take time to pause and think, cutting through the ephemeral nature of most of modern life’s visual stimulations.
