One Step At a Time 2 by Rebecca van Gennip

Rebecca van Gennip (b.2001) is a Canadian alla-prima oil painter raised in Uxbridge, and currently based in Georgina, Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Art Honours degree at Queen’s University, with a Major in Visual Art and a Minor in Art History in 2023. She specializes in interior scenes and still life with themes of time, memory, and emotional healing through the lens of Dutch Baroque style. Rebecca has sat on the Board of Directors for Union Gallery, has taken part in other festivals and exhibits ranging from the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, welcomed as an Artist in Residence at the GCAC, and currently represented by the Elaine Fleck Gallery on Queen St. West, Toronto.
