On A Muskoka Day by Manuela Moldovan

Manuela was born in Romania and moved to Toronto, Canada, a new and wonderful land.

She is an elected Colour and Form Society member and a self-taught artist.

Over the years, her artwork became full of colour, with high texture and depth, a true homage to life.

She loves capturing the mystery of any corner of the planet or imagining a beautiful and vibrant world.

In her artworks, the tranquility and the beauty of the nature encourage a deep engagement with the audience.

"After applying of a few layers of acrylic paint on my canvases, I start working with cold wax/oil paint/textile/paper, unleashing my creativity, imagination and reflection.

Travelling worldwide has allowed me to ignite my passion for photography. Slowly, my thinking and creativity process grew up. I started to insert small areas cut from the photographs in my acrylic or cold wax/oil paintings. It became an exciting process because any detail of my surroundings could be a source of inspiration".
