Good Morning by Laura Steels Hitchcock

Laura is a Coloured Pencil artist from Meaford, Ontario, Canada. Her work is very detailed using archival coloured pencils and 100% acid free cotton paper. Laura is passionate about the environment. Creating these portraits is a way to highlight the emotion and value these flora and fauna bring to the world and why it is important to preserve their habitats.

Her work has appeared at the Craig Gallery and The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts and has been in juried shows including: UK Colour Pencil Society, Paint Ontario and The Society of Canadian Artists. Laura has won shows with BMFA and Gallerie Urbania, Quebec City.

Laura is a member of the Coloured Pencil Artists of Canada.
