A Gentle Touch by Susana Nelson

Susana Nelson is a self-taught artist based in Whitby, Ontario. She rediscovered her childhood passion for painting during the COVID-19 pandemic, after an almost 20-year absence. This renewed inspiration led her to establish Kismit Art Studio, initially focused on creating custom pet portraits. While Susana continues to paint pet portraits, her work has since expanded to celebrate her love for all animals, especially horses.

Primarily working in acrylic, Susana also enjoys exploring a variety of other mediums, including watercolour, graphite, pen and ink, pastels, and pyrography. Her art reflects a lifelong connection to animals and a constantly evolving creative journey.
