The Bluenose was both a fishing and racing vessel in the 1920s and 1930s that was known for its incredible speed. It achieved many sailing championships of fishing fleets and held the record for the largest catch of fish brought in to it’s home of Lunenburg. I had the joy of watching the tall ships as they sailed through Halifax’s harbour as well as having a tour on the replica itself. The history of this vessel is incredible. This piece would style any ship lover’s walls!
