From the artist:
"Another beautiful piece of Orbicular Ocean Jasper, cut by Master Lapidary John Heusler. This stone makes me think of water flowing under dappled, shady trees. On the back is a silver frog. The necklace is strung on vintage white glass beads."
About the Stone:
Ocean jasper is distinguished by its unique multiple eye-like spots or circular patterns called orbs (that's where the term orbicular comes from) set in a background matrix in a wide range of color variations. The orbs are found in shades including white, gray, yellow, beige, pink, red, maroon and brown, plus an array of blue and green tones, and even near-black.
Measures: L 2.5" x 1.5" W.
Length of necklace is 23".
